Dementia S.O.S. - Strategies Offer Solutions

When a person hears that his / her loved one is living with Dementia, reactions range from denial, anger, fear, and helplessness.  Doctors diagnose Dementia but don’t always have the answer to the question, “What do I do now?” Our Dementia Support Group of Panama City was formed to share the good news that Teepa Snow created - a "Positive Physical Approach" and hand-under-hand strategies that reduce risk for falls, malnutrition, dehydration, and social isolation.  We have been sharing the good news of Teepa Snow who establish a "Positive Approach to Care" 20 years ago.  Teepa Snow has been changing the landscape of dementia care - "one mind at a time."
