Our Mission

Dementia Family Pathways is a Florida non-profit corporation formed in August 2019. Our mission is to: provide education that will increase understanding or memory disorders, improve compassion for people living with dementia., provide support and resources for Care partners in Bay County, FL. While our Articles of Incorporation do not prohibit activity outside of Bay County the board has chosen to focus on local needs.

Dementia Family Pathways has a five-person board of directors composed of individuals who have personally experienced what it takes to be a Care Partner with their own loved ones and/or in a professional care community.

In 2019 and 2020, Dementia Family Pathways provided the 1st annual Dementia Wellness Expo and the 1st annual Parkinson's Wellness Expo.

In 2021, DFP hosted a live webinar "A Morning with Teepa" and "Stronger Together" for the 2nd annual Dementia Wellness Expo and Parkinson's Wellness Expo.

In 2022, DFP proudly provided a free live "Day with Teepa" in Panama City Beach for 160 people with free CEUs for healthcare providers, three (3) PAC Trainer Scholarships, and continued to manage the 1st Thursday Dementia SOS - "Strategies Offer Solutions" - Caregiver Support meetings.
In 2023, Dementia Family Pathways, Inc. initiates a Better Baker Act in Bay County, provided a free 2-hour PAC Training for a facility, established Dementia Books and Resources for the 1st Thursday meetings, and licensed with Second Wind Dreams to provide the Virtual Dementia Tour in Panama City
