About the Event
Support groups are important for the people living with Parkinson's disease but also for care partners, family, friends, and healthcare professionals as a "point of contact" for education, support, and resosurces.

Members of our 2nd Tuesday Parkinson's Support Group of Panama City frequently refer to the "Parkinson's Care Program" strategies as a guide for improved function during motor and non-motor symptoms. Our best meetings were when we were able to sit around the table and discuss matters that no one understands - until they have a family member or friend living with Parkinson's disease. Now we meet virtually, until such time as it is safe to start meeting again in-person. We have limited in-person attendance at the Beach Chamber with social distancing.
