About the Event
On 9/1/20 our 1st Tuesday Dementia Support Group topic has been revised: "Caregivers for Compromise - Florida Families Looking for Common Ground"
Space is limited for social distancing. When you Register / RSVP you will automatically receive a Zoom invitation to join us virtually and discuss this important topic.
Our meetings are free, open to the public, and refreshments are provided. Every month we have a guest speaker who provides Dementia-specific information about resources, research, strategies, techniques, activities, medications, and more. We use Senior GEMS and the Positive Physical Approach to offer Care partners solutions to manage difficult behaviors, methods to plan a meaningful day, and techniques for creating moments of joy for people living with Dementia.
During COVID 19, our 1st Tuesday Dementia Support Group has been meeting using Zoom to stay connected, but beginning in June 2020 limited space will be available at the Beach Chamber for an in-person meeting with social distancing. If you would like to meet in-person, email Karen: firstname.lastname@example.org.

During our Dementia Support Group meetings, Care partners discuss their life experiences with people living with Dementia. There is plenty of time to ask questions, talk about common interests, concerns, and challenges. We socialize, share ideas, help each other solve problems, and show support for each other in the process.
Come join us this month and experience the benefits of a support group in your life.
