About the Event
Have you wondered about the use of CBD as a treatment option for Dementia?
On 10/6/20 we have Bethany Campbell, Cannabis Nurse Educator coming to talk with us about the advantages, disadvantages of CBD and how to get connected.
The Kaya Life
We have reached capacity for in-person attendance. Register / RSVP to receive a Zoom link to join us virtually. If in-person seating becomes available, we will contact you to ask if you would prefer to attend in-person.
During our Dementia Support Group meetings, Care partners discuss their life experiences with people living with Dementia. There is plenty of time to ask questions, talk about common interests, concerns, and challenges. We socialize, share ideas, help each other solve problems, and show support for each other in the process. Our meetings are free, open to the public, and refreshments are provided. Every month we have a guest speaker who provides Dementia-specific information about resources, research, strategies, techniques, activities, medications, and more. We use Senior GEMS and the Positive Physical Approach to offer Care partners solutions to manage difficult behaviors, methods to plan meaningful days, and techniques for creating moments of joy for people living with Dementia.
